How to Complete or Reset Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

How to Set Up MFA

Once your account is created, you'll be asked to set up MFA. This adds an extra step that helps protect your account.

  1. Go to the Meera login page and enter your email address and password.

  2. Once logged in, you will be prompted to set up MFA. Choose your preferred verification method: Authenticator App or SMS.

If using an Authenticator App:

  1. Download an authenticator app on your phone (such as Google Authenticator or Authy) if you don't already have one.
  2. Scan the QR code displayed on the setup page using the app.
  3. Enter the one-time code generated by the app to complete setup.

If using SMS:

  1. Select the SMS option and enter your mobile phone number.

  2. You will receive a one-time code via text message.

  3. Enter the code to complete setup.

Recovery Code

After completing MFA setup, you will be given a recovery code. Save this somewhere safe you will need it if you ever lose access to your authentication method. Once a recovery code is used, a new one is generated automatically.

How to Reset Your MFA

Use your recovery code to log in. If you don't have it, contact your Customer Success Manager or email help@meera.ai and request an MFA reset.

Once reset, you'll be prompted to set it up again on your next login.

Yes. MFA is required for all Meera accounts to ensure account security.

What if I didn't complete MFA setup when I first logged in?

What if I lose access to my authenticator app or phone?

Use your recovery code to log in. If you don't have your recovery code, reach out to your Customer Success Manager or send an email to help@meera.ai to request an MFA reset.

Will I need to verify my identity every time I log in?

Yes, but you can check "Remember this device for 30 days" to skip the verification step on the same device.
